Abstract: The linear expansion coefficient is an important property of metal.Precise measurement of
this coeffi- cient is of great significance in mechanical manufacturing. In this paper, four linear
Hall elements and three instru- mentation amplifiers are used to form a double differential
micro-displacement sensor, which is used to measure the linear expansion coefficient of metal. The
experimental results show that the sensor has high sensitivity, good linearity and a measurement
error of 0.4%.
